Beware of Fraudulent Mails

Dear Sir/ Madam,

We understand that there are fraudulent e-mails (also known as spoofing, impostor or phishing e-mail) going out to customers of various banks luring them to update sensitive account information like their credit / debit card numbers, User IDs, Passwords etc., by clicking on an e-mail link or by visiting a website.

Please note:

·  Indian Bank does not seek such information in any form from its customers. Hence, please do not part with this information even if you are asked.

·  If you receive an e-mail claiming to be from Indian Bank regarding updating sensitive account information, let us know by forwarding the e-mail to indbank[at]singnet.com.sg or contact us at 65-6309 4377 or any other source that you know to be genuine.

·  IMPORTANT: If you have revealed sensitive account information like your Debit Card number, Credit Card number, User ID, Password, or other personal information in this manner, please inform us immediately.

·  To ensure that you are going to an authentic Indian Bank site, type in entire Indian Bank website address into your browser instead of clicking on any link directly. Always type in https://www.indianBank.sg into the browser address field to go the Indian Bank Customer information system.

·  Kindly install and update latest Antivirus / Patches in your PC and most importantly change your password at regular intervals.

·  We reiterate that Indian Bank acts at all times with diligence, in good faith, and without any intent prejudicial to the interests of its customers. At the same time, it is our duty as customers to be diligent and follow basic security measures.

·  Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Indian Bank
